2018 Gran Fondo Santa Clarita
For riders of all different skill levels, 2018 Gran Fondo Santa Clarita taking place on Saturday, September 29, offers three different routes: a 20-mile family course starting and stopping at the expo, and, for seasoned cyclists, a 60-mile and Gran 100-mile race through Angeles National Forest via Bouquet Canyon Road. Enjoy a post-ride lunch or libation from the expo’s beer garden.
Gran Fondo participants can also ride for a cause. Set fundraising goals towards the event’s official charity, Davis Phinney Foundation; proceeds support people with Parkinson’s disease.
Finish the Ride
Join hundreds of other cyclists Sunday, October 7, for Finish the Ride Santa Clarita. Each of the three rides (12, 25 and 60-mile routes) go along the Santa Clara River, giving you options for a challenging course or a more laid-back ride.
All food and drink purchases benefit Streets Are For Everyone (SAFE) and Walk n’ Rollers. SAFE aims to improve the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists and drivers alike by working to reduce traffic-caused fatalities to zero. Walk n’ Rollers encourages children through education to walk and bike to school more often and more safely.
Revolution Bike Fest
Taking place at East Walker Ranch, Revolution Bike Fest will host a variety of attractions including a short-course race, 100k, bike demos and a pump track. Plus, throughout the weekend of November 9, they’ll have activities for the kiddos along with California brews once you’re ready to brake.
